The massive side skull decals come in left and right versions so the icon is always looking forward or to the left as the basic icon looks to the left. Fear not, I am currently (when writing - I am away at mo irl) working on a third itteration of the Redemptor chassis, with a Ballistus Dreadnought, the replacement of the basic Castraferrum Lascannon and Missile Launcher variation - RIP Castraferrum (but - I have plenty of them to re-paint from my mate Goddenzilla).

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Redemptor Dreadnought
Painted my standard grey, Uniform Grey overbrushed Codex (Dawnstone) Grey and washed Nuln Oil, highlighted Administratum Grey. The stone chips were actaully not slate so I painted them with Shyish Purple and Nuln Oil - instant slate!
I quite like the glow I achieved, simple and effective overbrushing the ridges after a Kantor Blue base, getting progressively smaller area with lighter blues, Sotek Green / Temple Guard Blue / Lothern Blue / Baharroth Blue.
The heat staining was washes of Nuln Oil / Drakenhof Nightshade / Leviathan Purple / Sepia
And a handy size comparison with a Venerable Dreadnought, who says scale creep is a thing(?!)... but does make it easier to paint!

Deathwatch Space Marines - Redemptor Dreadnoughts - Done!
The Space Wolves 'Chaplain' dreadnought will count as a normal dread ingame, however I love the chaplain-esk feel to it. I had to show the model in a more dynamic way - charging forward into battle. The colours were used like all others in the force, however I did take time to pick out the gems using the technical citadel paints for jewels over a silver base.
I think the pose of the legs could have been more extreme with the run, however I think that the pose I have achieved reflects the weight of the dreadnought in a good way. Both finished off nicely with the resin bases.
I need to apologise for a lack of responses, my computer/antivirus seems to have locked the feature. I have read each one, thank you!

WIP Week Update - Terrain and Redemptors
Hello All,
This week I've been attacking some terrain that I've had for a while to see whether this could be an option for future buildings. The kit is a TT combat building, 'Gothic Servitialis'.
Really happy with how the kit went together - I really like the way you can remove the different floors to get inside the building - this could be an option for fire fights inside buildings which could be fun! The plan is to coat the base of the building with a textured spray, then apply futher damage, then paint up from a grey base. The kit includes details which I will paint gold, then apply prior to weathering.
The 2 Deathwatch Dreadnoughts are coming together, hopefully these will be complete very soon! I am really liking the 3D printed parts that add soo much character to the model! I've built the chaplain as if he is mid charge, weapon raised high!
The Scythes Dread is less dynamic, standing back -supporting the lines. Again, fantastic kit with crisp, sharp details! LH

WIP Deathwatch Dreadnoughts
Hello All!
This week I've spent some time building up some further dreadnoughts for my deathwatch force - this time using some 3D parts I've picked up from eBay. I wanted to add more character to the dreadnoughts to link to their parent chapter.
These are currently in my 2nd geek space - the shed for initial painting. First up is a Scythes of the Emperor Dreadnought, the kit has different pauldrons, armour plates and leg plates as well as a weapon for the left CC arm - this will still count as fist.
Really pleased with how these are progressing.. more to follow! LH
Note: boxes are packed, Titans are ready! the Weemen team will be in action for the Titan Owners Club walk at Greetings from the Warp! if you are there please come over and say Hi!

Deathwatch - Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought of the Relictors
Up next, to the growing Deathwatch force is a Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought, with the Primaris hailing from the Relictors Chapter. (I love painting near dead Relictors...)
The Dreadnought has been armed with a Macro Plasma Incinerator and Heavy Flamer in the close combat arm. The Dreadnought was painted like the other Deathwatch, with a metallic black base, and highlights up to Thunderhawk Blue. The weapons are painted with a red base, Agrax wash with a orange final highlight.
I've added the same symbol as Siph uses on his Relictors, to link the dreadnought to Siph's force. I have also added the phrase 'Death' to the scroll on the front of the dreadnought sarcophagus armour, with 'Mortis' and a nod to 'Siph' on the scrolls on the sarcophagus itself.
Thanks for looking! Lord Halfpenny (5pts)
EDIT - picture of the Relictors symbol.. should have checked the images!

WIP Redemptor Dreadnought - Deathwatch
Hot on the heels of my first 2 Dreadnoughts for my Deathwatch force, is another one to add to their number. This time a Redemptor class dreadnought.
The model has been built to be striding forward, the kit has a number of options for the build which is great - I am not a huge fan of basic 'mono-pose' models, as you end up with all your models looking 'samey'. I think this is why the Deathwatch appeals to me, as you can convert the models to look like different chapters etc. like I did previously with the first 2 dreadnoughts.
I have built this and based exactly like the other dreads and the Corvus Blackstar with a metallic black over a base of Chaos Black. the left arm was then picked out with silver. A quick note, be very careful with this model if spraying the arms separately - I found I got some paint around the joint, which made it difficult to put the arms back into position.
I've opted for the plasma weapon for this dreadnought, I like the overall look of the weapon, and the stats are good too!
Thanks for looking! Lord Halfpenny.

WIP Marines - Redemptor Dreadnought and Repulsor
This week I've started to work through my vast collection of Primaris stuff- this was a sizable pile I've not touched since 8th was released..
So I've started building both the Redemptor dreadnought and the Repulsor tank, I've opted for the heavily armed options with the Repulsor. I've built the tank with the grav sections removed to aid with painting the armour of the tank. The tank itself was ok to build, however I do think this wasn't the easiest of tank builds. The doors haven't yet been added as I've got the Ultramarine doors from FW to add.
The Redemptor Dreadnought was a good build, opting for the plasma weapon option. The waist is not yet glued as I think it'll be easier when painting it.
