Deathwatch Captain with Jump Pack - DONE!

Hello All,

This week's offering is a Deathwatch Captain with Jump Pack. The model has had magnets added to allow hot swapping of his wargear. Moreover, the same smoke stack base has been used to allow the model to appear 'floating' on the tabletop.

The model was painted with the same style as the others, with details picked up again to match the growing force.

Power Fist and Bolter. Modelled with a skull head, I think its befitting of a CC monster!

Power Sword and Plasma Pistol - point to the enemy!

Chainsword and Flamer - I really like the Primaris head on this model, I've angled the helmet with the magnet slightly so that he is looking upwards

And I had to chuck him into the AI tool..

Squaduary 2026 - COMPLETED - Relictors Chapter Primaris Intercessors

Well, thats another Squaduary February hobby challenge for myself wrapped up. A successful month with a Titan Walk, some titan weapons and more importantly, a Squad of Primaris Intercessors which were languishing around since the release of First Strike boxed game back at the start of Primaris releases!

I removed the Sergeant helmet from the waistband, and added pouches in its place, added a disc to raise the helmet slightly and painted in codex compliant Red to denote his rank.

These two identical Marines (First Strike sprue had 3 different marines only) have had a Reiver arm replacement with combat blade and scabbard, whilst the Auspex holding Marine is box standard. Head placement direction also makes a difference.

These two identical Marines have had different head placement, and a few changes to Purity Seals. Removing one from a Pauldron, adding once to the waist and Bolt Rifle.

Another Primaris Intercessor 5-man Squad to add to the extensive Relictors Battle Companies, and 5 less Marines on the to-do mountain!

Relictors Chapter Primaris Space Marines - Gravis Captain

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. This week's addition to the vast Relictors Battle Companies is a character to lead the fledgling Primaris contingent, a Gravis Captain. This is also from the initial release of Primaris Marines way back with the "Dark Imperium" starter set.

Primaris Gravis Armour is a heavy-duty, thick-plated suit of power armour for Primaris Space Marines, designed for frontline, close-quarters combat, offering superior protection over standard Tacticus armor but slightly less than Terminator armour, excelling at holding ground with heavy firepower and resilience, featuring large power plants, chunky designs, and often used by elite units.

I added a tactical rock underfoot, and the sword is a replacement as I did model him with a power scythe at first for a now abandoned Emperor's Scythes force...

The cloak is Karak Stone layered with Ushabti Bone, washed Sepia and highlighted Ushabti Bone. Gives a dirty cotton look.

Not sure what to add next from my Primaris forces, maybe a squad for the annual Squaduary event next month? Maybe Infernus Marines, or looong overdue First Strike minis...

WIP - Deathwatch Assault Marines and Jump Captain

Hello!

Quick post, just some little WIP shots of some of my assault Deathwatch, and Jump Pack Captain. These guys have self printed smoke stacks, I'm not using the silly flimsy clear flying stands - these are slightly higher, but not too much to be called 'gamey' :)

Normal Deathwatch scheme, hopefully can get these done in the next week!

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Inceptor Squad

Hello all, thanks for dropping by, this week's addition to the mighty Relictors Battle Companies are a squad of Primaris Inceptors armed with Assault Bolters. They were from the initial Primaris release box set "Dark Imperium" a while back! About time I got them finished!

Inceptors fill the role of spearhead troops. They hit the enemy in one sudden and overwhelming blow, leaving them reeling as follow-up waves of Space Marines drive home the attack. Equipped with jump packs and reinforced armour, Inceptors can be dropped from the very edge of a planet’s atmospheric envelope, weaving and twisting through the skies before slamming down into the enemy’s midst

I used metal pin into the foot to mount them on the base as the flying stands are awful and flimsy and put them at a sitting backwards baby-stroller pose, so I chose a more upright pose, coming into land.

And the Sergeant with red helmet, but now thinking a red flash on the outer helmet should be added as when re-entering the atmosphere they have a visor closed.

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Hellblasters

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Long overdue from the Dark Imperium box set, the initial release of Primaris Marines comes the squad of Hellblasters, finally...

These are push fit sculpts, simple 3 designs with differing head direction to make different poses. I opted to paint one of the twin-sculpts as the Sergeant to make them different from the identical twin, using a helmet with a skull motif from the bits box.

Two Hellblaster troopers, not shown is the squad marking on roundel of the Backpack rear.

And their other troopers, 'side skull' Relictors emblem from Fallout Hobbies

And a Sergeant with Index Astartes compliant red helmet and kneepad identifying him as 19th Squad, Devastators Squad.

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Lieutenant w/ Power Fist

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Another Primaris reinforcement for my Relictors Chapter Space Marines, another Primaris Lieutenant... yes I know, feed the meme, moar Lieutenants!

I didn't quite like the Powerfist this one came with, so I swapped it for a relic Forge World resin one, and head swapped to a 3rd Party crested helm with laurels.

Here are the four so far, in true meme style I have more Lieutenants to do. The others already completed can be found here: Lt with Power Sword; Lt with Assault Bolt Rifle; and Lt Amulius

Deathwatch Space Marines - More Captains! Done!

Hello one and all!

Sorry for the lack of posts on my side, its been a busy few weeks, however there are big updates soon!

This weeks offerings are two Deathwatch Captains, these are 'home made' and are taken from a well known 3D printing site.

Centurion Captain

This guy I had to have the moment I saw the file, the model was flipped so the shoulder pauldrons were correct. I've painted the same style as my other Deathwatch, the model is armed with a chain blade and flamer, in game this could be a Terminator captain, or house rules. The model had a back pack added to finish.

Gravis Captain

This guy is a 'hit!' I wanted to have models that look imposing on the battle, and this guy does for sure! He has had his left arm mirrored from the right, with some purity seals added. I've also added a skull helm which was purchased from an auction site prior to me getting my printer. Again, finished off with the same scheme as the DW.

Relictors Space Marine Chaplain from Indomitus Boxset - Chaplain #12

Welcome Readers, thanks for dropping by. Well last week I added my eleventh Chaplain, a Terminator Chaplain, so here is my twelfth Chaplain. This was the Indomitus Boxset Chaplain, my favourite sculpt from the set of characters. I love the skull re-built portion of his visage, I gave him a red cybernetic eye.

Here is the new Relictors decal.

This was an eBay purchase with quite a decent paintjob modified by me to fit my forces.

And along with his other Primaris Chaplain, a fine pair to lead and stir up the battle rage of the Primaris Battle Brothers.

Deathwatch - Primaris Intercessor Squad - Done!

Hello one and all!

This week's offering is a five man, Primaris Intercessor squad - these are 3D printed models from a well known site, with plastic arms, weapons and head added. 

I've opted to have all 5 as Dark Angels, weird yes, but I always like the old lore about Dark Angels looking for the fallen - not a thing now, and that they were part of the Deathwatch, however they were really hunting for their prey. 

The scheme is as per my normal style, these guys have more chains which have been picked out in metal, so they have a darker appearance.  

The bases are again from a well known site, 'tactical rocks for all'
