Imperial Knights - Vassal Knights of Legio Astorum - Armiger Warglaive #3

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Hot on the heels of last week's Imperial Knight Paladin, the bonus Armiger I bought with it was also completed in my Vassal Knights of Legio Astorum scheme. Meet Armiger Squire - Knave Erasmus riding Warglaive 'Cowards Bane'.
A mighty Thermal Spear, Melta Gun and an Armiger Chain Cleaver these nimble Knight Squires accompany the larger Knights, scouting for enemies and are quite effective in close combat too.
The Chain-Cleaver, a smaller derivative of the Reaper Chainsword of the Questoris Knights, but mighty compared to an Astartes Chainsword!
I added the accent colours of brass mirroring the Questoris schemes.
The Thermal Spear is a mighty Multi-Melta type weapon, easily melting armoured vehicles and heavy troops to molten slag. I added heat staining to both the Thermal Spear and Melta Gun barrels.
And now I have three Armiger Warglaives mirroring the three Armiger Helverins I also have. That makes 21 Knights in all so far... and I still have that box of Renegade to start and another Questoris Knight to complete...

Knight Seneschal: High King Lucius Darius riding Dominus Castellan 'Adamant Wrath'

Legio Crucius - WIP Warhound #3 - including 3D printed weapons

Hello one and all,

This week I've started working on my 3rd (of 4) Warhounds, potentially with the long term plan to run 2 squadrons of 3 Warhounds at Titan Owner Club Walks.
The main part of the build is complete, with the skeleton of the titan done, pinned and secured together. I've opted for a static pose. The pelvis/torso has had magnets added. I've added pins to all the leg joins to support the Titan, as well as the head - as I've had one or two issues with the first two resulting in the head falling off due to transit.
The weapons for the Hound is exciting! I've printed options for the Titan, with the Volkite Eradicator and Ursus Claw for some serious close firepower. I will have the same load out for Warhound 4. These have been printed using my Anycubic Phantom, the Claw as several parts with the additions of supports for the print. I am really happy with how these look, hopefully more progress soon!

I've also worked on options for a Conversion Beamer and Warhound Melta Cannon, below is the Conversion Beamer. I've used 2 different files, and then spliced them up to allow the construction of it. Pretty happy with it!
Thanks for stopping by! LH

Legio Astorum - Reaver Titan Carapace TurboLaser Destructor

Welcome Titanseers and all, thanks for dropping by. After bemoaning the lack of carapace options for the Reaver Titan and having to convert my own TurboLaser Destructor and Vulcan MegaBolter converted from Warhound Titan weapons, and purchasing the OOP Imperial Redoubt Laser (*cough Reaver Titan but not ever released as) c'mon its a kit from 2006 and still only has one option and AT variants have several options - well, I came across a 3D printed TurboLaser Destructor clearly based on the design of the AT variant, so I got one of them too!
The kit was well put together, the supports all on the underside so a clean finish was shown on the top surfaces, the main body was three main parts, the shields separate and the mount and body are all magnetised so I can swap out the TLD with a converted carapace Plasma Blastgun when I get around to that, based on the Warhound weapon.
I painted the same as my existing Turbolaser Destructor with silver barrels and heat staining around the muzzle.
A beautiful sculpt/print.
A fantastic kit and I just wish FW can once again give Titans some love, now they have made Horus Heresy plastic range by main GW, it will free up some capacity to concentrate once again on the more niche large kits like Titans!

Deathwatch Marines - Reivers and more Characters - Done!

Hello all,

A crazy few weeks, but have got several bits complete to add to the growing Deathwatch force. I've got done, a Captain, a Lieutenant, 5 Reivers and a DKK Siege Drill

I've completed a Deathwatch firstborn Captain with a Jump pack, armed with a Thunder Hammer and Shield, The perfect combo for full assault tactics! The Marine is from the Sons Of Medusa Chapter.

This marine has been sitting in the pile of shame for some time - this was a Games Day I picked up years ago, based on the cover art for 2nd Ed (I believe..) I've converted the Left arm so that he now has the DW symbol on his pauldron. The model has been painted with the normal DW scheme, with touches of the original art - the flame patterns and Yellow Bolter!

5 Reivers

These guys have had parts from other minis added, and then used the same style of 'camo' as my Eliminator squad- with the Tau inspired camo phasing from camo to armour. Really happy with how these guys look. I am really happy with the Serg' who appears to be going 'SShhhhhh...' to his next victim.. very Ork Kommando-style!

Death Korps of Krieg Siege Drill

It was with the Krieg stuff years ago and I believe bought at a Games Day some 15 years ago.. I've opted for a DW style scheme for this - I can image the DW using it to penetrate a Necron tomb, or other Xeno threat!

Thanks for looking! LH (30pts)
