Relictors Terminator Chaplain Tarentus - Chaplain #11
Chaplain Tarentus is armed with a Crozius Arcanum for melee and a Combi-Flamer for purifying the enemies of the Imperium, a Bolter firing two shots (Terminator rules) and a Flamer.
The 'feathers' of the Crozius are painted white to differentiate from the other Terminator Crozius which was gold. This was an eBay purchase with a decent paint job which I’ve adapted and overpainted the golds.
The gold was Retributor Gold, washed Reikland, highlighted Auric Armour Gold. The detailed base was edged the same as the rest of the army's in Mournfang (Calthan) Brown and drybrushed Karak Stone and Ivory Fang (DRPA colour range) or Ushabti Bone.

Deathwatch Characters - DONE!
Hello one and All!
Another week sees further additions to the Deathwatch force.
All three have had a similar base coat, using metallic black as the base, with highlights of Thunderhawk blue applied. Details were picked up with selection of colours to match the force.Primaris Chaplain
The shoulder pad was painted in the scheme of the Sons of Medusa, due the stock shoulder pad having a similar appearance of the chapter. I love how aggressive the model looks - stridding forward!
Terminator Chaplain
This is one of the limited edition Chaplains that was available a while ago - I have the updated version to build also from a warhammerfest during the lockdown. I've painted the shoulder pad in a Relictors grey style. Again painted to match the force with the over paint of the eyes to try to show them glowing.
This is another limited edition model - being the 'fest model from another lockdown year (they all rolled into one..) this guy is from the Imperial Fists chapter with a 3D printed shoulder pad.
Thanks for swinging by! LH (30pts)

Deathwatch Characters - Done!
Another week, another group of characters to add to my growing Deathwatch force,
This time we have a Captain, from the Blood Angels, a Chaplain from the Angels Vermillion, and a Lieutenant from the Blood Swords Chapters.
Lieutenant
The Lieutentant was build using a combination of parts from the sternguard kit. The model was painted as per my other Deathwatch, with the details picked out. I opted for this marine to be a Lieutenant simly down to having a good mix of wargear to be good equally at the front of the line, or directing from the rear, with supporting fire.
Chaplain
I used the plastic Chaplain which I purchased some time ago. The helmet was used so that the bare head could be used on another model.Really happy with the skull helm, and tones from the blue glowing eyes.
Captian
SMASH! finally, the Blood Angels Captian, using the jump pack Chaplain as a base, I converted the right arm to have a Thunder, and the left arm was swapped to have him holding a storm shield. The Thunder hammer was painted in a 'buring elements' style, from red up to a yellow highlight. happy with the results! The details over the armour were picked out in Purple to appear different to the other jump pack chaplain model.
Boom - 3 done! onto the next :) LH (30pts)

Deathwatch Jump Pack Chaplain - Done
Hello All!
This week had seen the completion of another member of my Deathwatch force - a Chaplain with a jump pack. The moment I saw this model I knew somehow I would have to include at least one of them in a force - and with the Deathwatch I have that ability!
I've not changed anything on the model, as I feel the pose is very dyanmic. I painted the base colour the same as all the others, however I picked out the Blood Angels aspets with Red and Gold to denote his status as a Chaplain.
The jump pack was painted with red wings, highlighted with a bright orange against the red, which had a wash of Agrax to dull the colour slightly.
The eyes were picked out in the same blues as the helmet lenses, with a cooler, lighter blue used to add a hue around the eye sockets. I used the same blues to add to the jet pack engine.
Again, really happy with the finish, now time to add some troops! LH (10pts)

Relictors Space Marines - Chaplain #10
I mounted the Chaplain on a 32mm adapter to the base and inserted a few small rocks under the feet as the original owner had not fixed them to the base correctly, but I didn't mind as it gave a few more millimetres.
The studded Pauldron was painted in Relictors grey and metal studs. The Plasma coils my usual blues.
A nice great addition to my many Chaplains, I love Chaplains so I keep adding them to the ranks, a Chaplain Dreadnought, a Biker, two Terminators, one Primaris, one Jump-Pack and four Chaplains on foot. Others found HERE

Relictors Space Marines - Chaplain on Bike - Chaplain #9
The pose of the rider is an odd one, almost like he is standing in his 'stirrups' orating litanies to the surrounding Marines, he is sat bolt upright, standing on tip toes, unless you are meant to hammer him into a sitting position, I like the idea of standing up.
Along with the metal kit, book, Chaplain and front Smoke Launcher, I added a Ravenwing Bike with scrollwork on the front mudguard and raked exhausts. The basic bike pennant serves well in this case, so a small Chaplain pennant, and a suitable Chaos Space Marine left Pauldron and Power Pack - after all, they are Relictors!
The base was a resin one bought on eBay, I like the thinner bases to the oval ones, it will match my Bike Squads. The resin slate was painted black and then drybrushed Eshin Grey and a little Dawnstone before a Contrast coat of Magos Purple to look slate-like, then drybrushed lightly with my usual base colours to blend in and look dusty - Karak Stone and Ushabti Bone.
The front Armour Plate with the Bolters is also from a Chaos SM Bike I think. I like to differentiate my Sergeants and Characters from the basic bike. Sergeants get the winged fairings, I think his original metal fairing went to a Biker Sergeant a few years ago!
And as much as I hate painting faces, I am quite pleased that this Chaplain's features and eyes came out quite tidy. For the Emperor!
###EDIT### I revisited the Purity Seals as per Dave's comment - more scripture and litanies :)

Relictors Space Marine Chaplain #8
This sculpt has also been packaged up with an alternative arm as a Deathwatch Chaplain. However, I digress... I used Skeleton Horde over Dheneb Stone for the parchment, a lovely effect I think, and over Ushabti Bone for the bone areas. I added some colour and interest to the knee and repeated the red spot colour on the opposite shoulder Pauldron.
The Relictors grey Chapter Badge (my version - real one is sideways skull and freehand, this is an easy decal and I've done 200+, too late to start now...) can be seen on the left Pauldron.
The golds were Retributor Gold, washed Reikland Flesh and highlighted Auric Armour Gold and a spot of Liberator Gold. The Black Armour was Abbaddon Black, edged Eshin Grey and further highlighted Dawnstone.
I repeated the white skull on the Bolt Pistol and Crozius handle, echoing to the Chapter Badge.
The text on the scrolls and parchment is done using a 005 Micron Pen rather than a brush, a cheating tip for budding painters - its excellent for painting scroll work script on Banners etc.
And here is the Relictors Chapter Chaplains assuring the purity of the faith and geneseed whilst the Relictors dabble in the dark arts - to fight Chaos with Chaos if needed. Shhh, don't tell the Inquisition - Roboute Guilliman has only just bought us back into the fold with Primaris reinforcements.
Thanks for dropping by and Cheers, Siph. (10pts Character)

Relictors Primaris Chaplain (Chaplain #7)
Not all my own work, not sure how I came across Black Hand Marines, but I saw in Heretic Deb's Store page that there was a very reasonably priced Primaris Chaplain for sale and with a little tweaking I could make him my own Relictors Chaplain.
The sculpt itself is a marvelous one, probably my favourite Primaris sculpt to date even, so I had to have one and I loved the leather effect Heretic Deb had achieved so with a few alterations to the base, pauldron, icons and a general tidy up on the metallics and underside I had myself a Primaris Chaplain ready to go.
Along with my other Primaris Marines in the works, gone is the glossy black pauldron, replaced with a matt finish Relictors icon and grey border, the Relictors Primaris reinforcements are not indoctrinated into specific Companies, but rather Command is held centrally so the Primaris Marines lack Company specific colours on the shoulder trim, just Relictors grey. When they are attached to a specific Company for actions, they do observe the Command structure as normal, I'm thinking the Primaris Ancient might have a 5th Company Banner as his Astartes Banner.
Chaplains are an excellent addition to the Primaris Space Marine forces, with the Litanies on a 3+ meaning you can tailor your character to boost firepower from the rear with the Recitation of Focus or Catechism of Fire or with a Jump Chaplain for example boost the attacks in the Assault phase with Mantra of Strength, Canticle of Hate, Exhortation of Rage or Litany of Hate.
An excellent start to my Primaris forces, some Intercessors in the pipeline, the two Scythes of the Emperor are now proudly wearing the new regalia of Relictors grey and I've even preserved the formal Red colouring for Sergeant helmets in accordance with the Index Astartes - I intend my Primaris reinforcements to be fairly strictly following the edicts laid down by Roboute Guilliman, I don't want to attract the wrath of the Lord of the Imperium and have ourselves Excommunicate once more! (Not to say a few Relictors character traits and decorations won't find its way onto my Primaris forces as I build and paint, got to inject some flavour in all this vanilla...)
Cheers, Siph (5pts - Character but half as not all my own work)
