Deathwatch Aggressors and Deathwatch Captain

Another week, another post! Shocking I know Siph! (Gasp! - Siph) 

I've completed my 6 Aggressors for my Deathwatch force - these were done in the same style as previous Deathwatch Primaris, with a metallic black base, highlighted with Eshin Grey, then thunderhawk Blue. I've picked out details that match across the unit. I opted for 3 and 3 with the configuration to give me options as the force increases, whether they are played as a unit of 3, 6 or as part of a killteam with other Gravis armed united. 

The First Born Captain is based on a spare Ultramaine Chapter champion, with weapon swaps. I've given him a plasma pistol, and a Xeno blade (could this be where Sicarius is after he went missing?) I've tried to retain certain 'Ultramarine' elements, without the model looking out of place with the other Deathwatch marines.

I am very happy with the sword - the green has had 3 lighter shades applied, with then highlights with white to the edge. I then applied a wash of Tesseract Glow to give it a Xeno 'feel' with a final highlight to the tip in white.

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Primaris Aggressors Squad

Hello All, thanks for dropping in. Today I would like to showcase my latest addition to the growing Primaris reinforcements to my Relictors Chapter - some well needed firepower - Primaris Aggressors.

Even though these are the 'firstborn Centurions' of the Primaris range, they are a lot easier to paint and I did in a main assembly including the head which needs to be in place before the cowling; power cables and shoulder pauldrons.

Here is the Sergeant, I didn't see that the model has a spare set of skull adorned Boltstorm gauntlets until I'd fitted one, so he just has one 'badge of honour' on his fists. The box allows all three to be built as troops.

And here is the first of the troops, I intend expanding the squad in the future as they are just so effective on the tabletop.

Deathwatch - Primaris Aggressors - WIP

Hello!

A really quick post, due to moving house, my hobby time has been limited however, I did try something new this week. I recently saw a video online using make up brushes for drybrushing. I thought I'd give it a go on my Aggressors. This was the first coat, and I am planning on doing a second drybrush before going back onto the details.

The brush is softer than a normal brush, and looks to pick out more details. I do plan to do a full post with better quality pics to demonstrate. I opted for a 4 brush set from a local shop, which price wise wasn't too expensive at £15.

Deathwatch - Primaris Aggressors - WIP

Hello One and All!

Thank you for stopping by, I thought I would change to a different form of Primaris to paint this week, and opted to start on some Aggressors. I have 6, 3 with the Auto Boltstorm and 3 with the flamestorm weapons. These will either be fielded as a unit, or 2 seperate units of 3, or as part of a Deathwatch Primaris Kill team.

These are based like my other marines, with details picked out. I have used the Terminator sized Deathwatch should pad, as well as some chapter specific ones.
