Terrain and Scenery - Barricade Scratchbuilt from Printer Spares

Hi All, thanks for dropping by. A simple piece of terrain I did for my Boss's son, He recently asked for Warhammer40K presents at Christmas, so as a nice gift to a newbie, I thought I'd help out his terrain collection and hopefully inspire him along the route of doing terrain too.
It actually came about from a conversation about the spare printer plastic (i think for adapting the printer to US Legal Size paper) and was going into the bin when I joked it would make a great Space Marine Barricade, and the boss agreed. I then thought "you know what, I'll do just that" and did.
I added two firing platforms from some spare Rhino top hatches and some resin vent casts as tank-trap dragons-teeth, cut the ramparts to size for the Primaris Marines on the firing steps.
I added a spare Skull from the Arcane Ruins, some Chaos Vehicle Accessory Chains and an interior screens piece from a Land Raider. I added a scope to the skull to make it seem like the screens were showing what the skull can see.
The barricade had sprue debris added and painted Mournfang Brown drybrushed Karak Stone earth and Skavenblight Dinge barricade. Dawnstone washed Nuln Oil debris and concrete. The wall was highlighted and skull painted Zandri Dust before washes in streaks to look dirty.
A few choice transfers from Baneblade Sheet and SM Vehicle Sheet and the printer plastic was transformed!
Not bad if I say so myself, it looks up to the task and quite a good terrain piece.
Terrain is often overlooked or thought to be expensive, well in all, this was pretty much free besides a delve in the bitz box and a hardboard offcut. Terrain is the third army on the table and really enhances the feel of games. Hopefully this inspires someone to have a look around the Office for suitable spares :)

Thanks for dropping by, Cheers, Siph. (5pts for Scenery)
