Legio Astorum - Warlord Titan - "Dominus Victoria" - COMPLETE

Dominus Victoria

I did it.

Here finally after three and a half years (!) is the completion of Warlord Dominus Victoria (High Gothic for Lord of Victory) of the Legio Astorum, to accompany the Reaver Honorum, Warhound Canis Praetor and Warhound Canis Bellum.
Admittedly, after the initial build in 2016 I was burnt out for my enthusiasm of BIG-miniatures and feared the painting stage. The naked endoskeleton superstructure sat mocking me from the corner of the WeeMen room - I needed motivation for completing the build and that's where Titan Owners Club came in - I attended the 2018 TOC UK Walk and was spurred on and encouraged to get the Warlord finished for the next Walk! So, I re-started the project in earnest in mid 2018, particularly in 2019 I've concentrated on getting her ready and now she is done.

The link to the whole Titan Construction process can be found HERE.

Fighting for or against Lord Halfpenny's Knight Banner?
The detritus of war is scattered on Her base.
Tank Traps don't slow down the Titan's Walk...
The Titan's certificate number is proudly displayed on the torso plate armour as well as on the right thigh in Gothic Numerals.
I love the Warhammer World Exclusive Mars Beta Head, so characterful and rightly 'mean' looking.
A Guardsman's eye view, no wonder they are called God Machines!
Legio Astorum Warlord, Dominus Victoria Walks!
I am quite chuffed with the outcome, a fine addition to the Maniple and Legio. Next up, back to some smaller Units before sometime in the future a Warbringer Nemesis Titan and a Lucius Warhound, but not yet.
Dominus Victoria will Walk this weekend at the Titan Owners Club UK event, where she will be battling alongside 80 other Titans! Remember to register your own Titans at Titan Owners Club, and if you want some cool Titan Owners Club merchandise we even now have a Spreadshirt Shop, any profits go to buying Titan sized terrain for future Walks for all members to enjoy :)

  2. Yes Brother Princeps! We will crush the Drake Seta, Lyden P and Col.H traitors at MK19 Walk! Yes, two Warlords in a week, that will not be matched for some years to come, but maybe we can now get back to some WeeMen rather than God Engine sized 'minis' haha

  8. This is simply beautiful. I loved this series and I am glad that you chronicled the entire process. It's gratifying that folks like me, who can only dream of having one of these, can vicariously live through watching this majestic war machine come together and step out into the field of battle like the techno-god that it is. I look forward to seeing it in battle reports, and I look forward to seeing what you do next!
    Thanks again!!!
