This was done in the same way as the first, only the vehicle number and pilot head are different, same weapons too. Now I have an even better chance of Multi-Melting those pesky heavies, or double Heavy Flaming those hordes. I added a metal skull decoration in the centre, just to 'Relictor' it up. Here's a picture of both my Landspeeders just to prove its not a re-post!
Nice work.
ReplyDeleteI have a pair of multi-melta attack bikes I use for similar purposes.
Relictors always had some cool fluff I thought.
Cheers Ron, I posted the fluff for these guys in Nov last year, taken from the articles in WD. That little dabbling in Chaos but staying true to the Emperor got me hooked and that's when my army was born.
ReplyDeleteI like multi-meltas, but it's hard to fit them into lists sometimes and lanspeeders and bikes fill the anti-amour slot really well, attack bike squads and land speeders are just deadly at this AND i need to get some...
ReplyDeleteAlso very nice. Will there be a third?
ReplyDeletevery nice. i'll keep my tanks out the way next time i see land speeders. how do you do the detail on the command console on them?
ReplyDeleteGreat job - they'll be a nightmare for any tank-heavy army list.
ReplyDeleteThank-you all. Oni, there might just be a third at some point - I think a Typhoon with long range anti personnel to give the enemy something to think about from the off.
ReplyDeleteCadian127th, its just a simple boltgunmetal drybrush first and raised details picked out with foundation paints. Any screens have a simple band of a lighter tone along 2 edges, the scanner/radar had some lines radiating out from centre. Screens are finished in 'ard coat to give a refletive finish.
I'm going to need some heavies to take thoses bad boyz out!
