WeeMen off to Titan Owners Club UK Walk Weekend

Princeps Senioris Halfpenny and Princeps Majoris Siph are off to Hive City MK this weekend for the 2nd annual Titan Owners Club UK Walk. It is two days of Titan battles with many many FW God Engines and Knights on the field of battle. The picture above was last year, this year will be considerably bigger!

Join the international Titan Owners Club for loads of Titan content and the chance to battle with like minded (mad) hobbyists! All you need to do is go visit TOC and register your official FW Titans.

There is 75 God Engines and Knight Banners battling over a very large surface gaming area, doubling last year's numbers and size. I hope to repeat last years tally of Traitor Engines, and make my nemesis (mate) Lyden P pick up the wreckage of many Engines...

Hopefully this year, the Loyal Imperial Forces will triumph upon the fields of MK. LH and myself have worked hard to get our maniples to battle readiness adding a Warhound, Nemesis Warbringer and two Warlords to the loyal tally. This will be fun! We will post pictures and an account once we return triumphant! Warhorns sound!

Legio Crucius - Warlord Titan - 'Hell's Daughter' COMPLETE

Hello one and all!

Wow, what a week for WeeMen! Two complete Warlord Titans, with Siph completing Dominus Victoria and thats not all - in addition my previous completion of both Mons Igneus Warbringer Nemesis Titan and Black Strider Warhound Titan it has been a crazy month for the Weemen team! Its only a couple of days until the Titan Owners Club UK Walk in hive world MK19 (Milton Keynes), where our Titans will stride out together to war.

Hell's Daughter has taken just over 2 months to complete, and has been painted to match the other Titans in my Legio Crucius Maniple, again LED's have been added to the model this time with a few reds added to the 'eyes' of the Warlord.  Each light has its own power supply.

I've also added a smoke machine to the model, this is a train smoke machine, which has also the added bonus of noise to go with the smoke.

The model has also had the addition of custom decals to add further details to the model. I am still not 100% on the righthand (left seen in pict) shield, which was made using various images and photoshop - I might change this eventually.

The weapons have been magnetised to allow me the option to swap the wargear. I do have a volcano cannon ready to do, however this was the load out I opted for for the walk - we are using AT rules, thus the option for more shots over more powerful ones was a good compromise in my eyes.

The model has also had a selection of checkers added, like the other Titans. For this I used tape to mask the areas, sprayed, and then repeated to get the desired effect. 

I'm really happy with the overall look, and look forward to seeing how she does on the dance floor of War! Thank you for all the support during the build of this Warlord, it is a truly wonderful model to work on, construct and paint. My advice is to plan every stage - from pose to colour, and I would definitely like to add another one to the Maniple one day.

Legio Astorum - Warlord Titan - "Dominus Victoria" - COMPLETE

Dominus Victoria 

I did it.

Here finally after three and a half years (!) is the completion of Warlord Dominus Victoria (High Gothic for Lord of Victory) of the Legio Astorum, to accompany the Reaver Honorum, Warhound Canis Praetor and Warhound Canis Bellum.

Admittedly, after the initial build in 2016 I was burnt out for my enthusiasm of BIG-miniatures and feared the painting stage. The naked endoskeleton superstructure sat mocking me from the corner of the WeeMen room - I needed motivation for completing the build and that's where Titan Owners Club came in - I attended the 2018 TOC UK Walk and was spurred on and encouraged to get the Warlord finished for the next Walk! So, I re-started the project in earnest in mid 2018, particularly in 2019 I've concentrated on getting her ready and now she is done.

I love the Warhammer World Exclusive Mars Beta Head, so characterful and rightly 'mean' looking.

I am quite chuffed with the outcome, a fine addition to the Maniple and Legio. Next up, back to some smaller Units before sometime in the future a Warbringer Nemesis Titan and a Lucius Warhound, but not yet.

Legio Crucius - Warbringer Titan - Mons Igneus COMPLETE

Hello one and all, so, another week, another Titan complete for Legio Crucius!

Mons Igneus

The Nemesis Warbringer Titan, "Mons Igneus" - High Gothic for fiery mountain, or Volcano is now ready for next weekend's Titan Owners Club UK Walk.

The banner was applied showing Mons Igneus' battle honours, more to be added soon.

The Titan Owners Club logo is proudly shown on the Warbringer's armour like all of the Titans I own.

Custom Decals for the Crucius logo.

The titan has been painted with the same scheme as the other Crucius Titans in my Maniple, with slight variations to make the models individual, but also similar to maintain the look of a force from the same Forgeworld. I needed to apply custom transfers to the model for the Crucius fist icon as no FW decals exist.

The weapon loadout had to be for long range shooting, with 2 volcano cannons and the quake cannon I can see Mons Igneus hanging at the back of the pack on the field opening fire, destroying foes from afar.

"Astramos Mortis Aeterem" has also had a banner added, and I have also added a couple of further Ryza style custom decals to add more details to her.
