Dreadtober - Through the Years Tally 2016-2025

Hello Dreadtober-teers, 

With a busy weekend of Titan Walk event and probably quite tired today (I will post soon on the event with loads of pictures of Titans!) so I pre-scheduled this as I wanted to share my progress of Dreadtober pledges over the years. 

Last week I finished my ninth year of participation and would like to send my gratitude to the Dreadtober-teers and organisers of this fabulous motivating hobby event! As you can see from the picture above and listed below pictures, it has enabled me to complete quite a few projects!

2025 - Two Armiger Warglaives

2023 - Work took me away in 2023 but in the preceding months I completed a number of Dreadnoughts in honour of Dreadtober, so they could be schedule posted alongside the participants efforts, I may have been absent but was still there in spirit.

2022 - Imperial Knight Canis Rex and Sir Hekhtur

2021 - Necron Canoptek Doomstalker

2020 - Relic Leviathan Dreadnought with Grav-Flux Bombards

2019 - Rogue Trader Era "Fury" Furibundus and "Eddy" Deredeo Class Dreadnoughts

2017 - Modern Deredeo with Space Marine Casualty

2016 - Plastic Contemptor Dreadnought with re-posed legs

Terrain and Scenery - Pegasus Hobbies Gothic Building to hide titans #7 - Hab Ruins

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. The final of the Pegasus Hobbies sets I have to complete before the upcoming Titan Walk event is done! Another hab block, this time, in standstone colours. Lord TITANium and myself are travelling north today to do battle this weekend at the Titan Owners Club UK Main Walk 2025. Photos will follow... sometime next week.

Burnt out ruins as usual, with remenants of tiled floors, removeable and building is flat packable with magnetised corners.

More posters for interest and scale.

And all the Titan Owners Club terrain I have personally constructed, just some of the masses of equipment required to put on the biggest and best Titan Walks on the planet! Gonna need a van soon! All this plus titans is why I magnetised the buildings and waists of the titans to reduce transportation crate sizes!

Legio Astorum will Walk at the Titan Owners Club UK event this weekend, where they will be battling alongside 150 other Titans amongst these ruins! Terrain and Scenery - Pegasus Hobbies Building to hide Titans #6 - Administratum

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. On the back of last Friday's post with Building #5, another huge terrain piece for line-of-sight blocking titans at Titan Owners Club Titan Walk events. This was made from several Pegasus Hobbies Large Gothic building sets.

You can see the immense size of these buildings, ideal to provide tactical line-of-sight blocking terrain for the huge floor-battles at Titan Owners Club Titan Walk events. 

This one has again a darker exterior and fire damaged ruins of interior, blue chequers this time. But these are removable and all flat packed with magnetised corners for transport to events.

This is an Administratum Building with gold detailing

Also has two round stained glass windows on either end, must have been higher ranking Adminisratum staff here once.

And like the other sets I've already done, (Hab Block, Cathedral, Administratum, Hab etc) they are flat packed for easy transport to and from Titan Owners Club events. I have another 1 set to do before October Main Walk event at the end of the month.

Dreadtober 2025 - Week 3 - Armiger Warglaives COMPLETE

Hello Dreadtober-teers!

For those not in the know, Dreadtober is an annual event held over the month of October where hobbyists pledge to do a dreadnought-sized model from the to-do pile and get it finished, starting 1st Oct and hopefully completing 31st Oct (Halloween/All Hallows Eve) with lots of progress shots and encouragement along the way :) and I like to partake in Dreadtober, and have done for a few years, a veteran of now 9yrs with a sum of six Dreads, two Imperial Knights and a Necron Construct but now two more Armigers added to the tally!

The pair of Armiger Warglaives are now completed and I am making a Banner of Knight Armigers to take to the Titan Walk at the end of October, so a few days before Dreadtober finishes.

Here is the previous pair completed before Dreadtober, much the same as the initial three I have, but I swapped the arms around for the latest pair and used the Helverin armour without the crenellations or skull thigh motifs for some variation.

The new Armiger Warglaives to add to the pack, in AT28mm you can field a swarm of 9 of these mechanical beasties! No.7of9 has a dead Necron at the feet, as a 'Borg' tribute.

7 of 9 completed for this year's Titan Owners Club Main Walk event this weekend!

Next week I'll post a round-up of the Dreadtober over the years featuring all the pledges completed!

Terrain and Scenery - Pegasus Hobbies Gothic Building #5 - Hab Block

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Another huge terrain piece for line-of-sight blocking titans at Titan Owners Club Titan Walk events. This was made from several Pegasus Hobbies Large Gothic building sets.

The interior still shows a lighter colour than the exterior, mainly for interest but also for ease of construction at event - all magnetised at edges with a few tabs for guiding into correct alignment.

This has some tiled wrecked floor sections, I went and added these to the previous Hab block too, all different chequered colours for each building, black, red, blue and beige for the four I am building at the moment.

Again, I added some propaganda posters for scale and interest.

And like the other sets I've already done, (Hab Block, Cathedral, Administratum, Hab) they are flat packed for easy transport to and from Titan Owners Club events. I have another 2 sets to do before end of October Main Walk event.

Hello Dreadtober-teers! My favourite hobby event of the calendar year is back again for another instalment and I nearly missed it due to Titan Walks and charity hobby events recently! This year is yet again being run by Marc (Old School Gaming) so a massive thanks to him for keeping the hobby event alive for another year! And thanks to the founder Greggles, and Joe B and Todd (Sincain40K) and Joel (Mordian7th) for their contributions through the years too.

This year, a pair of Armiger Warglaives, I am making a swarm of Armigers to take to the Titan Walk at the end of October, so a few days before Dreadtober finishes I need these Walking into battle at the vanguard of my Legio Astorum Vanguard!

This was last Monday's progress along with Armiger no.5. I think I'll have 7 this year.

And this at the start of this week! Great progress has been made on Armigers 6 and 7, this year's pledge.

And on the base of Armiger 7 of 9, I had to add a Borg(Necron) construct... Star Trek reference... And better to the Dreadtober Party late than never! Here's wishing all the other Dreadtober-teers a great event this year!

Necron Dynasty - Canoptek Doomstalker #2

Hello all, thanks for dropping by. These are just too good to have only one, so I have a second one added to the force, a cheap eBay rescue and repaint. It had armour plates attached backwards so bidding kept low - a twist and a re-glue later, a perfect model. 

I've painted the legs basic silvers to make a difference from the first construct.

The basic base was used, unlike the first with a SM casualty. Again, slight differences to make both unique.

Nice to have some heavy hitting anit-tank for the Necron Dynasty as I never got around to building a Doomsday Ark, just after the Ghost Ark I couldn't face all that line highlighting again, so these are great simple constructs.

Rather War of the Worlds vibe...

WeeMen at Titan Owners Club Walk at Warhammer World - Rally Point Games and MINDs Event - 4 Oct 25

This weekend WeeMen as members of Titan Owners Club were invited to support the Rally Point Games and MINDs charity event taking place within Warhammer World in Nottingham, UK. Lord TITANium H and myself took our own titans to the event.

This was the array of titans taking part

The joust was basically facing off pairs of titans against eachother over the top of three or four 40K battles raging beneath them in a friendly narrative event. The 40K players could interact with the titans if they wished, but the response would be the titan firing back at them!

40K Players did indeed take the opportunity to challenge the titans as the Walked through their games, some even agreed a short-lived truce to concentrate fire on the passing Engines, resulting in several ENGINE KILLS! But in most cases, the heavy return-fire made them think twice about challenging again...

ENGINE KILL! (Shouts were echoing around the gaming hall all day!)
