Legio Astorum Forge World Warbringer Nemesis Titan - COMPLETED

Hello Titanseers, thanks for checking this completion post out. So, here it is Warbringer "Mons Vesuvius" walks for Legio Astorum. Completed now and ready for adventures at Titan Owners Club event Walks.
The Titan is fully magnetized for ease of storage (if I run out of display cabinets), transport and if I want to swap out the main gun for a Mori-Quake Cannon and Magazines from the second Warbringer kit I have.
Mons Vesuvius armed with Belicosa Volcano Cannon, Battle Titan Volcano Cannon and Gatling Blaster

Here the crew can be seen in the Command Deck, Princeps on the Command Throne and two Moderati
Up top on the Observation Deck is the Master of Ordnance doing some spotting
The battle honours are listed on the Banner, and the ruins on the base come from the original rescue job which had a large ruined base which was too large and heavy for my liking and didn't suit my other titans.
On the reverse of the Banner is the Titan Owners Club crest.
The access deck to the Titan when docked in the transport Coffin Ship
The main armament is wired into the generators beneath the void shield generators. These are magnetised so the whole assembly can be removed. The hoses are magnetised at both ends in the pre-drilled holes. The Volcano Cannon capacitors are also magnetised to the torso hull with 5 neodymium magnets each in the pre-drilled holes (6mm diameter, 2mm deep).
The AA batteries are also magnetised and rotate and gun barrels depress and elevate.
The scroll work is High Gothic (pigeon Latin) for "Win Victory by the Emperor's Might"
The Mars-Alpha head. My second kit has the Mars-Delta head.
The secondary armament here is the Battle Titan Volcano Cannon
The other arm is less reactor-heavy, the multi-barrel Gatling Blaster
I love the addition of the flames on the legs, preserved from the original Legio Fureans scheme on the original rescue titan. Now recoloured to represent Legio Astorum.
The same on the thigh armour, it was black flames and repainted for Astorum.
Rather happy with this new acquisition for the growing Legio Astorum Maniple "The Emperor's Halo". Here you can see the teflon coasters under the base for ease of movement on the battle mat at Titan Owners Club events.

Deathwatch Primaris Captains - Done!

Hello one and all.. I'm still here!

This weeks offering is 2 Primaris Captains for my Deathwatch force.

First Captain, this captain - from the Brotherhood of a Thousand chapter is the standard Gravis captain, with a space wolves head swap. The armour has been painted as per other Deathwatch forces, with the addition of a purple power sword.
Up next, is Captain 2.. Similar to some of my Deathwatch force, the Captain has had the Power Sword swapped with one of the Necron power weapons, I like the idea of the Deathwatch accessing enemies weapons to fight them.. This model also has had the addition of a 3D printed 'Skywalker' head.

Overall, happy with the look of these two.

Thanks for stopping by. LH (20pts)

Reaver Titan Carapace Vulcan Mega Bolter

Hello Titanseers, welcome back, thanks for dropping by. Since the Reaver Titan was released around about 2006 by Forge World they have consistently failed to provide a number of options for the Titans, there was the Turbo Laser Redoubt which was a proto-Carapace design and abandoned and made into a Redoubt Bunker instead. Once Adeptus Titanicus was released with several carapace options for the Reaver, there was a glimmer of hope more carapace options would come available - alas none have come and some arm weapon options have been removed (Chainfist). So some people have retro-designed based on the AT variants and scaled up to produce 3D Prints. This is such a weapon which came with a recent 2nd-hand Reaver purchase - the mighty Vulcan Mega-Bolter (VMB).
This sculpt is slightly (10%) too small and the carapace plug is moderately (25%) to large for the Reaver and considerably (50%) too shallow to fit the FW Reaver, however it is passable and needs must. Once I get a 3D Printer up and running, maybe I will upscale the .STL files and adjust the fitting-plug.
I painted this to match the same as my converted Carapace Vulcan Mega Bolter
I quite like the low profile this one has with the side-slung ammo hoppers. The advantage of VMB over a Apocalypse Missile Launcher is six shots and possibility of more with sixes. So on a Close Combat orientated Engine this may be more appropriate, besides I like the 'dakka dakka' this represents!
Here is a sneak preview of the 2nd-hand Reaver, was Legio Defensor, will obviously be re-painted to Legio Astorum!

Cheers, Siph

Legio Astorum Forge World Warbringer Nemesis Titan - WIP #6 - Head and Crew

Hello Titanseers, thanks for dropping by. More progrrss with the rescue Warbringer Titan from Forge World. Some small details have been taking up my time this week, the head, internals and crew - small but highly detailed takes time.
This is the Master of Ordnance, he is positioned on the gun deck, hopefully taking shelter before the big gun fires - otherwise he'll get a 'tan', needs ear duffs and goggles and mouth open for firing! I also put a pair of magnoculars on the front armour.
A quite dapper chap, I used mainly contrast paints for the fabrics and Guilliman Flesh for the skin.
Not quite sure what these tools are for?
The Command Deck in the head received my usual cockpit green and I picked out all the scopes, screens and buttons.
Here is the Princeps, rather pleased with the paintjob on him.
On to the armour plates of the Head, Army Painter Demonc Yellow base followed by 2-3 coats of FW Sigsmund Yellow Clear - the new Sigsmund Yellow Air is a lot darker and streaks more so before I exhaust my stock of the FW paint, I'll have to experiment and compare to achieve consistency in yellow colour.
Nice details like the doors will be mostly obscured when put together but its nice to do some detail work.
On the main view screen in the deckhead of the Command Deck, a enemy titan can be seen on the scanners.
Here are the Moderati in place, looking like they are warming their hands on a fireplace - but when the front consoles are in place they are reaching for buttons and levers...
The head being put together - Moderati now operating their systems.
Mostly complete

Thanks for dropping by. Only the front armour glacis plates to finish then it's complete. Just in time for the Titan Owners Club UK Main Walk 2024 and "Mons Vesuvius" Warbringer No.547 will Walk for Legio Astorum!

Cheers, Princeps Seniores Siph
