Legio Astorum - Forge World Warlord 'Ex-Noctia' - New Main Armaments - Belicosa Volcano Cannons - WIP

Hello Titanseers, thanks for dropping by. When I purchased Warlord No.10, Ex-Noctia, unfortunately the Belicosa Volcano cannons were missing but after some detective work from the Princeps at Titan Owners Club, we managed to track them down with the new owner of a Reaver Titan also sold at the same time. A lovely chap, we managed to get them sent back to me and finally after his house move and me absent at sea with work - I was re-united with them and got to work making them fit Legio Astorum livery and the other Astorum Warlords of the Emperor's Halo Maniple so they can be interchangeable.

Here you can see the Astorum decals so far, I'm utilising the Atarus decal with the laurel and the Titanicus "T", but the Forge World symbol was swapped out for a Lucius one (was possibly Forge World Phaeton or their new fledgling Forge World of Atar-Median).
Here they were in the original Atarus scheme, it's a shame I had to overpaint the Atarus decals, but I preserved one panel and a red stripe or two similar to Ex-Noctia to honour the previous livery and machine spirit! I will add magnets to the joints so I can swap between titans too.

Cheers, Siph

Next up... Yarrick??
.....turn around....
AAARRRGGGHHHHHHH!
Nurgle Commissar will get you! This is a model I printed, and then painted.. is it Yarrick?!?!

Adeptus Mechanicus - Secutarii Hoplites 'Titan Guard' - Squad #5

Hello All, thanks for dropping by. Here is the fifth and final squad of Secutarii Hoplites. These were the last squad of the painting commission I had ordered. More Infantry choices for Ad Mech, and more Titan Guard to protect my God Engines!
Another five Secutarii Hoplites of Legio Astorum, gene-bred to protect the Adeptus Mechanicus war engines and the mighty Titans of the Collegia Titanicus lead by the Secutarii Alpha (denoted by yellow and gold pauldrons).
And five more to complete the Commission, 50 Hoplites and 50 Peltasts in all. My Mechanicum/Ad Mech foot troops have more than doubled in numbers now, I hope 10th has rules for these? They are armed with Arc Lances and Mag-Inverter shields and sheltered by a harmonic Kyropatris Field Generators - The Arc Lance was a 12in, S6, Assault 1, AP-1, Dmg1 weapon, but when damaging vehicles is D3 damage. In melee it is also S+3, so S6, AP-1, Dmg1 and against vehicles D3 damage. The Kyropatris Field Generators so have a 5++. Where the Shield comes into force is in melee, it gives a 4++ against melee weapons and if an unmodified save from a melee weapon hit is a six - that inflicts a mortal wound on the attacking unit after the attacks have been resolved - back in your face! I hope this made it into Legends or into 10th soon.. regardless, they are cool minis.

Cheers, Siph.

Legio Astorum Warhound Titan "Canis Sirius" - WIP #1 - Retouching

Hello Titan fans, yes another Titan going to join The Emperor's Halo Maniple. One of the Titan Owners Club members and friend Aaron P. was selling one of his hounds so naturally I was interested. Most of the work is done for me, the same blue (Kantor Blue) has been used and I have seen the titan in 'person' several times so I know its a good one. (Seen above at Warhammerfest 2023).
Aaron did not have the vent assembly in the carapace as he used LEDs for a glowing titan torso, however I prefer gubbins and machinery so I made a replacement using a Rhino APC front plate, some Ad Mech gubbins, back of a Cerastus Command Throne and a couple of Predator turret rings. This is inside and on the deckhead above the interior of the torso.
My handywork viewed from outside, quite pleased with that.
The carapace itself has been refreshed, trim re-done and washed Reikland to match my other titans. Here I used the Paint Pen again to good effect. Love the ease which I can make great designs. Finished off with an Astorum decal (gloss layer shown as hasn't had final lacquer applied yet).
I applied a large Astorum decal on the other side, this matches my previous Warhounds.
I added the titan certificate number to the leg.
Inside the cockpit, I added some detailing with lenses and view screens.
Outside the head, Aaron had used a dull yellow which was quite dark, so here you can see the respray Demonic Yellow base coat I use for my Titans.
The base had quite a lot of flora added so to match my own forces bases I removed the larger patches and replaced them with slate chips. Other patches where removed were glued/sanded and will be painted later.
Repeated on the rear side of the base. I will also pin the titan to the base from the underside, and pin the knee joints and sections of legs for added strength. I'll also paint the toes and do the missing trim parts.

It shouldn't take too long at all to get this Warhound back on the frontline. Thanks to Aaron for the opportunity to add one of his 'Hounds to my own forces.

Cheers, Princeps Seniores Siph.

Relictors Space Marine Chapter - Castraferrum Dreadnought #11

Thanks for dropping by. Following on from last week's addition, another Assault Cannon and Dread CCW armed Castraferrum Dreadnought is added to the Relictors 5th Company.
This is now the eleventh of many Dreadnought reinforcements I bought from Goddenzilla at Kaiju Country blog. 7 more to go until they are all updated and join my extensive Battle Companies. Below you can see the Goddenzilla original scheme.
Originally armed with dual Power Fist CCW
I chose to paint the arm black to match the accent panel, meaning this is the darker twin from last weeks offering.
A little scroll ornamentation on the reverse.
The replaced right arm is now a spare Assault Cannon from the Venerable Dreadnought, hence the more ornate trim and shoulder pauldron. Thanks to Goddenzilla for this new addition.

Col. Schaeffer‘s Last Chancers and Gaunt’s Ghosts

Hello one and all!

This week’s offerings are further Imperial Guard reinforcements for my Vostroyan Firstborn Army. These were painted by a friend as a commission project, I've made a few changes, and the bases done to link the forces.

Last Chancers

Colonel Schaeffer and his crew of 'criminals' ready for action, these were all painted in a similar style for Urban combat, I've printed the bases for these units, same as the First Born units to all match.

These could be used a kill team force, or as a uber unit in 40k using their previous rules/wargear.

Gaunt’s Ghosts

These are the original - metal version, again painted in an Urban style, again with the same resin bases.

Really love these models, and really happy to have them complete and ready for battle! LH (10pts)

Relictors Space Marine Chapter - Castraferrum Dreadnought #10

Hello Readers, thanks for dropping by. Another scheduled post again as I am overseas. This is now the tenth of many Dreadnought reinforcements I bought from Goddenzilla at Kaiju Country blog. A Castraferrum Dreadnought armed with twin Storm Bolter CCW Fists and now re-armed (literally) to an Assault Cannon.
I used an old arm I had spare from the original first Dreadnought I painted to swap out the twin CCW fist as I don't know if that's a 'legal' loadout anymore? To match the bone accents of the first Dreadnought I painted the Dreadnought Close-Combat fist also in bone.
I added a skull on a chain underneath the Assault Cannon to 'Relictor-fy' the dreadnought a little. This dreadnought goes to 5th Company.
Here was the original scheme from Goddenzilla
I also added a WFB shield boss to the front panel like all my earlier vehicles.
