Legio Crucius - Warbringer Nemesis Titan - WIP #9 - Almost Complete

Hello Readers - thank you for stopping by!

The last few weeks I've spent time clearing my hobby desk ready for my 'big' project next, however before that, I need to move further on with my Warbringer project. From the last post, I have got all the armour plates added and completed apart from the final highlight and a wash on the shields and AA turrets. The head is in place, and the weapons are all added.
For the Volcano cannons I have magnetised them to allow the option to swap the load out in the future, I have also turned the arm support (the elbow) around by 90 degrees to allow the weapons to move on the vertical axis. This, in my head makes more sense that to allow the move on the horizontal. By doing this I think it also stops the model looking (as quite a few posts said when the model was released) like a T-Rex. I am really happy with the position and pose of these weapon arms now.
Hope you like the progress!

Here is a group shot of my 4 Titans - Mons Ignes (Warbringer), Astramos (Reaver), Black Strider (Warhound - yet to be completed) and Wolfshead (Warhound).
This family picture is missing something... (WL860 will walk)

Thanks for stopping by! LH

  1. Nice set of Titans, they look really good. I agree with the weapon mounts, better to be able to track vertically, and it looks better.

  2. That's a serious amount of resin. I'd say you have a problem but I guess you already know.

    1. It's a common affliction for any member of Titan Owners Club! Having multiple Titan's is the norm... 8 should do it, lol.

  3. That's a fine looking Maniple you've amassed in the same time it's taken me to paint the Warlord! And Warlord 860 on the way too. Sweet!

  5. So next one goes bigger right? Seems to make sense.

  6. Those are truly impressive my friend. I can only imagine the work that's gone into them. I've only ever built one smaller Eldar titan model and that took me forever to finish.
Seeing this gives me the idea for a Titan factory Kill Team board.
