Quick update- I've been making steady progress with the process of painting the armour edges of the Reaver, slow progress as I've been away on a conference- I was planning on showing another project this week, however I forgot to take my brushes with the paint and models! School boy error!
I had thought of going for a brass finish, however I realised this may make it look slightly more in line with Chaos than Imperial- so a regal gold was selected! happy so far!

The Gold Trim really starts to tie all the colours together and tidy up the scheme. Great progress!
